DYNAMICS OF GENERALIZED GAUSSIAN BEAMS IN CIRCULAR AND ELLIPTIC WAVEGUIDES WITH QUADRATIC PROFILE OF LINEAR REFRACTION AND KERR NONLINEARITY

Using the modified generalized method of moments the equation of motion are derived for the parameters of a misaligned astigmatic twisted Gaussian beam in an axially symmetric nonlinear medium. These equations present the beam propagation as a finite-dimensional dynamical problem, the propagation distance playing the role of time. Nontrivial features of beam dynamics are revealed in circular and elliptic waveguides with parabolic prole of linear refraction index and Kerr nonlinearity. Application of dynamical effects in elliptic waveguides are proposed for high-effciency mode-locking devices.

THE NUMERICAL MODELING OF ACUSTIC WAVES REFLECTIONS FROM MOVING GAS STREAM

The numerical modeling method of acustic waves interaction with plane gas stream with several cross profile of stream speed is given. Differential equation for common reflection coeficient of wave from cutoff layer is obtained.

NON-LINEAR REGGE TRAJECTORIES IN THE RELATIVISTIC MODELS OF EXTENDED PARTICLES

The dynamical system which is equivalent to 4D spinning string on a classical level is considered. The model differs from the corresponded string theory on quantum level. The system has quantum numbers which are interpreted as the mass M, the spin S, the isotopical spin I and the charge Q. Deduced dependence S=a(M2) (Rejje trajectories) are non-linear in general. Some simple examples are considered.
