Z.P. Belousova, E.S. Selezneva ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY AND PHISICO-CHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF SULFOACID BENZOAZOLIDES It is found that alcohol solutions of benzimidazole, N-benzimidazolide methansulfoacid, N-benzimidazolide benzolsulfoacid, N-benzimidazolide toluolsulfoacid, benzotriazole, N-benzotriazolide methansulfoacid, N- benzotriazolide benzolsulfoacid, N- benzotriazolide toluolsulfoacid in concentrations 0,001, 0,01, 0,1, 1, 10 mg/ml inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus colonies. The antibacterial activity of the named substances demonstrates the high non-linear correlation with their lipophylity. The other physical and chemical parameters very weak correlate with the ability to depress the Staphylococcus aureus colonies growth. The strengthening benzazolides antibacterial activity is shown be a result of methyl radical complementing to molecule structure. A.E. Sklyuev DROSOPHILA MELANOGASTER ABILITY TO ADAPT TO THE GENOTOXIC EFFECT OF SOME BENZOTRIAZOL DERIVATIVES In the paper the ability of Drosophila melanogaster to adapt to mutagenecity of N-hydroxybenzilbensotriazol and N-benzotriazolilbenzolsuphfoacid in LD50 concentration which have preliminary beent treated with the same compounds but in LD0 concentration is analysed. It is found that Drosophila imagines partially adapt for an ability of N-hydroxybenzilbensotriazol to induce dominant lethal mutations and are not capable to adapt to the mutagenecity of N-benzotriazolilbenzol-sulphoacid. V.N. Suleimanova The aim of the research is to study peculiarities of fruiting and demographic characteristics of Maianthemum bifolium (L.) F. W. Schmidt in taiga and subtaiga zones. 14 cenopopulations of M. bifolium (10 – in Kirov Region and 4 – in the Republic of Mari- El) are examined. Cenopopulation research in various types of the forest: pine, fir and mixed woods is performed. All of the studied cenopopulations are characterized by a low level of fruiting, prevailing forming of fruits at the base of inflorescence, approximately similar diameter of fruits. Vegetative reproduction (virginal individuals prevail) is mainly typical of cenopopulations of M. bifolium. General age spectrum is found right-side and one-top, age spectrums are not full and the most part there are no sprouts. T.A. Shutova ECOLOGICAL DANGER OF ADAMANTANS AND THEIR PHYSIOCHEMICAL PROPERTIES In the paper toxicity and mutagenicity of adamantan and its 7 derivatives in the Allium cepa test and drosophila melanogaster tests are studied. It is found that all of the studied compounds inhibit their germination of seeds, the grouth of roots and proliferation in the cell of root meristem A. cepa. All adamantans induced chromosome aberrations of various types in the cell of root meristem A. cepa. The D. melanogaster test revealed that the studied compounds differ in toxicity for imago even in minimal concentration. D. melanogaster males irrespective of concentration are more vulnerable to toxic effect of adamantans than females. All adamantans induced lethal mutation of drosophila imago. A highly positive correlation between molecular weight, molecular volume and the capacity of adamantans to induce chromosome aberrations in the cells of root meristem A. cepa, lipophilicity and toxicity of compounds for drosophila imago is established. A negative correlation between the volume of energy solubility and the number of induced chromosome aberrations of A. cepa and between lipophilicity and the number of induced dominant lethal mutations of D. melanogaster is found. |
