A.V. Voronin, S.V. Pervushkin, I.F. Shatalaev In the paper the effect of organic carboneum sources (glucoses and natrium acetas) on Spirulina platensis batch culture growth in lab is discussed. The optimal concentrations of glucose and natrium acetas, increasing growth in batch cultures are obtained. E.M. Inyushkina LEPTIN — ANOREXIGENIC REGULATORY RESPIRATORY ACTIVE POLYPEPTIDE Leptin is a 16 kDa polypeptide which is secreted by fat but acts primarily within the hypothalamic arcuate nucleus to control food intake and body weight being a circulating satiety signal. Outside hypothalamus, leptin receptors are also discovered in many SCN areas including respiratory-related nuclei. The measurement of respiratory function in wild type rodents and genetically modified ob/ob mice reveals impaired respiratory control mechanisms and abnormal respiratory mechanics caused by changes in level of circulating leptin and by centrally administered leptin. In the paper a possible role of leptin in respiratory control is discussed. O.I. Krasnyanskaya, I.G. Kretova LIFESTYLE AS A DETERMINING FACTOR OF SEXUAL HYGIENE AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH The method of anonymous questioneering is used to study age, social status, attitude to sports, psychoactive substances, leisure as well as knowledge of STD infections, possibility of prophylaxis and contraceptive measures in 133 girls at the age of 16–24. They are divided into 3 groups: the first group consists of 40 students (30,1%) of Samara State Medical University; the second group includes 30 persons (22,5%) — the students of other higher school institutions of Samara; 63 persons are included into the 3-d group — those who work or study at secondary school. The significant difference in living conditions, income, education level, and mode of spending free time in different categories of young people is found. Those young people who do not study demonstrated a lower level of knowledge on the problems of family planning, contraception as well as ways of protection against STD. T.G. Kuznetsova, V.E. Kuzmina, M.V. Radchenko In the paper the behavioural reactions of pre-school children on making a decision in difficult situation — achievement the aim approaching at different speed is studied. We found that after changing the speed, the dominance of on-switching the activation systems of the orientation reflex, aim achievement motivation, positive and negative emotions change. The most appropriate complexes of interaction of such systems in satisfaction the need of aim achievement, that do not lead to psycho-emotional tension, and not appropriate ones. T.V. Malykhina ESSENTIAL OILS APPLICATION TO MEDICAL TREATMENT AND DISHORMONAL MASTOPATHY SYMPTOMS PROPHYLAXIS At present essential oils have almost no use for the prophylaxis of premenstrual syndrome and other dishormonal changes of female organism. In the paper the applicapability, perspective tendencies, medical effects and personal experience of essential oil usage are considered. V.A. Solovov ULTRASONOGRAPHY IN PROSTATE CANCER DIAGNOSTIC The examining database 624 patients aged 49–85 are analyzed to define the diagnostic effectiveness of gray-scale, color and power Doppler transrectal ultrasonography (TRUS). Among them there are 473 (75,8%) cancer patients and 151 (24,2%) benign prostate diseases patients. All patients underwent a transrectal ultrasound examination with multifocal biopsy. The gray-scale, color and power Doppler transrectal ultrasound examination has the diagnostic accuracy of 75,3%. The effectiveness of the method increases with the Gleason sum growing. V.A. Solovov NEW IMMUNOCHEMISTRY METHOD FOR PROSTATE CANCER DIAGNOSTIC Determination of the prostate-specific antigen (PSA) concentration in blood serum is the most effective laboratory method of the early and differential prostate cancer (PCA) diagnostic. In the paper the results of prostate cancer diagnostic are analyzed by the aid of determination of different PSA isoforms concentrations. A new method of PCA detection with the help of defining the PSA free fraction density is described. D.N. Tolkushkina In the paper respiratory responses to electrostimulation of main noradrenergic nucleus of the central nervous system (locus coeruleus) are considered. Different changes in respiratory pattern parameters and electric activity of inspiratory muscles depending on voltage and frequency of stimulation are found. |
