In the paper some topological characteristics of benzoic acid derivatives are investigated. The basic physicochemical parameters for the first time synthesized benzoic acid derivatives are calculated. Correlation ability of the Wiener indices and the Randic indices of research compounds with their physicochemical properties is examined. It is shown that in most cases the Randic indices (the molecular connectivity indices) are correlate with polarizability, molecular refraction, molecular volume better than the Wiener indices.
