THE FORMING OF BEAVERS POPULATION (CASTOR FIBER L.) IN SAMARA REGION AND EVALUATION OF TROPHIC FACTOR EFFECT

In the paper the basic trends of the spatial structure forming the beavers population in Samara region are described since the moment of introduction. The effect of trophic capacity of biotops on beavers population is evaluated. The rate of the beavers expansion is determined.

STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF DATA QUESTIONNAIRES AND SCALES IN PSYCHOLOGY AND MEDICINE

In the paper the comparability of statistical methods for processing variables represented by an ordinal scale is analyzed. Average value and standard error visually demonstrate the data questionnaires and scales. Median in the small oblique samples does not take into account deviating values, not showing proper dynamics of the parameters. The Spearman rank correlation reflects good interrelations between variables given by the ordinal scales and leads to results close to the parametric Pearson correlation.

ON THE THEORY AND PRACTICE OF THE SIGN FIELDS AND ANIMAL BEHAVIOUR

A biological sign field represents the informative-communicative process of mammals’ interaction and the environment where they live. The corresponding theory and the technique are tested on some ecological empirical material.

THE EFFECT OF ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD OF TRANSMISSION LINE 35 KV OF CHLOROPHYLL CONCENTRATION IN WINTER WHEAT

The effect of electromagnetic field of transmission line 35 kV on changes of the chlorophyll concentration of winter wheat is experimentally studied.
